KIMBERLY has just completed (October 2010) an extensive mechanical and systems refit which included a new air conditioning system by CruisAir overhauling both generators two (2) 75kW A-Sea Powerconverter units (upgraded from 50KVA to 75KVA) with New Woodward easYgen Controller for seamless transfer two (2) new water heaters and new washer & dryer. She has also had a new hull & transom paint job and fresh bottom paint. The entire refit was nearly one million dollars.In addition this elegant Tri-deck Motoryacht underwent two extensive refits in 2007 & 2008by two of the most discerning Yachtsmen who have spared no expense in improving this yacht's pedigree. Firstly extending the swim platform 7.6 feet andoverhauling both main engines. Then the main living area was completely rebuilt giving the full beam main salon and dining area approximately 800 sq. ft. of open elegance. The sky-loungewas also new combining a classic den / media room with 180 degree panoramic views. The sun-deck gives total privacy to relax in the hot-tub or bathe on the sun pads.Main Salon & Dining AreaEntering from the aft deck you noticethe warm cherry wood that is satin finished. There is a card table on the port side with four leather chairs and a bar with 3 barstoolsto starboard. Forward of this area is the entertainment center with a 42" plasma TV on an electronically-controlledlift. The buffet continues forward holding fine china silverware wine cellars and icemaker. The plush couch is on the port side. There is another buffet that separates the formal dining area. The high gloss dining table seats 8 and is surrounded by plenty of storage options for dishes serving platters and wine storage. Forward into the marble foyer is a spiral staircase leading to the bridge deck. The main guest entry is on the starboard side with another entry toport.Office/StudyAlso located on the port side is the Owner's office with thedesk positioned under a large window. Cleverly concealed in the forward bulkhead is a pull-down twin bed allowing for conversion to an additional stateroom. The entertainment center is located on the aft bulkhead. This area can be totally private by closing the pocket doors. The full head and shower are centerline; this also doubles as the day-head accessed also from the companionway on the starboard side.GalleyJust forward is the galley and ever-popular country kitchen arrangement.Full-length cherry cabinetry upon entry conceals the ship's stores.The very attractive Corian "off white" countertops complement the backboard to the stove area. The galley equipment is stainless steel of professional grade. Just forward of the galley is a casual dining lounge with a banquette that seats 4 along with 2 additional chairs. The floor is of varnished oak plank. A 20" Sony TV with DVD/Stereo is located off to the side. Master SuiteAft of the lower foyer is the master suite complete with His & Hers ensuite baths.His has a shower and Hers offers a bathtub with Jacuzzi jets and a bidet in addition to the water closet.The king-sized berth is centerline with nightstands on both sides. A backlit screen gives a prominent backdrop to the bed and the overhead is finished with an attractive mirror arrangement. Matching walk-in cedar-lined closets are to port and starboard along with the cabinetry for additional clothing and the suite's entertainment systems which comprises a 27" Plasma Sony TV Sony VCR and DVD player and a Sony 5 CD player located by the Hers bath.Three very large oblong windows port and starboard give a light and spacious ambiance to the suite.Forward VIP This stateroom is located down & forward of the galley. There is a queen berth centerline a 20" flatscreen TV with separate DVD & stereo. The head & shower are en-suite. Crew Accommodations Proceeding aft is one of the laundry areas with a full size washer & dryer. There is a crew cabin port & starboard with upper & lower berths each with its own head & shower. The queen-sized Captain's cabin is located in the lazarette area.Guest Accommodations The Starboard cabin has twin berths with a Pullman. The marble bathroom also features a bathtub.The Port cabin has a queen-sized bed. The marble bathroom also featuresa bathtub.Pilothouse Semicircular stairs up to the main entry foyer and another semi-circular stairwell up to the pilothouse give a most welcome feel.Behind the command center is an extremely comfortable lounge with a leather banquette and table for underway viewing or for planning a trip with the Captain.Three very substantial Stidd helm chairs offer the ultimate in comfort to those monitoring the ship's progress details of which are provided by an abundance of state-of-the-art electronics that cover every conceivable function. Full-sized windows offer a view from every angle. Also there is a Portuguese Bridge with wing controls.Skylounge in Upper DeckJust aft of the pilothouse is a skylounge with full bar and game table and another comfortable seating area with leather couch and arm chairs.A 42" Plasma TV is concealed and folds down from the ceiling plus VCR and DVD equipment.The bar is outfitted with granite countertops a sink icemaker and refrigerator ample storage and two occasional chairs.The same-varnished oak planking is used as in the galley.Decks - Aft & Equipment One of the luxuries of megayachts is being able to enter from either side deck or from the aft deckvia a swim platform or passerelle.When entering from the swim platform you can either ascent to the aft deck from port or starboard or descent into the engineering station/engine room. The aft deck offers much comfort with a table for 8 and two additional side chairs each with its own ottoman.There are two lockers in the aft bulkhead one giving access to the equipment for the engine air intakes and the other giving access to the fire dampening system.There is also a hatch in the deck for the fidley emergency engine room access.All decks are teak and each of the main and upper decks offer tremendous views from full-sized picture windows. The boat deck is accessed aft through a full-paned French door leading to thedeck lounge area with an immense wraparound seating banquette that will accommodate up to 17 people. In addition to the teak dining table and BBQ there is a centerline davit with brand new Novurania 460 with a 90hp4-stroke outboard engine. Forward opposite the seating arrangement is a professional grade La-Z-Boy stainless steel gas grill with an accompanying Corian workstation and cabinetry for two gas bottles. Up one more deck via circular stairs is an ultra-private sunning/soaking area.A Jacuzzi for 6 is flanked by equal sun pads and there are four beautifully varnished teak chairs with a couple of ottomans on deck for additional seating options.The massive radar arch doubles as a sun defle
