In the case of this 2000 Formula, it is a program that others would be envious of. It is not enough to fix things when they break, here the systems have been constantly upgraded and maintained to better than new condition.
Just recently, the boat was hauled and bottom painted, new zincs etc. A full detailing was done while she was on the hard.
New Bravo three drives were just installed, with duo-props for better speed and efficiency.
A new bimini was just installed.
If you are looking for a cruiser that is a few years old and therefore priced much less than a brand new vessel but still in very good condition, have a look at this 2000 Formula. The owner has been extremely happy with the construction quality of this boat, which is the reason he went with Formula in the first place. He was quick to point out that this vessel will plane quickly and will achieve faster cruise speed than equivalent cruisers in this same class.
Many upgrades were added when the owner purchased this boat new.As you enter the cabin of this 34PC, you will be taken by how she appears nearly new down below as well as topside. The carpet is protected by plastic runners and the upholstery and woodwork is nearly flawless. The use of cherry wood on the cabinetry and accents enhances the looks of this modern, yet comfortable design.
To starboard is the roomy mid cabin, that doubles as a sitting room or dining area by day and a comfortable berth at night. You will find storage and a hanging locker to compliment the comfortable accomodations.
To port as you enter the salon is the head with Vacu-flush head, vanity with stainless sink and hot and cold water. You will find quite a bit of stowage under the sink. A stand up shower, mirror and port light complete the heads amenities.The galley is well equipped for all your entertaining and dining needs. Origo microwave oven and two burner stove will provide the heat, while a refrigerator freezer combo keeps things cold. There is ample counter space and stowage for a lenghtly cruise or a very busy weekend. The goose neck spout serves the stainless steel deep sink. The TV-VCR combination is built in over the counter to be easily seen from the curved ultra suede sofa that doubles as a dinette with the hi-gloss cherry wood dining table.Forward is a center line double with plenty of stowage. With access on both sides, you do not have the usual bed making gymnastics you find in most forward staterooms.
An overhead hatch, the use of mirrors and an open design make this a very roomy feeling stateroom.
The dinette is also capable of sleeping two, so this 34 will sleep 6 adults comfortably.The cockpit may well be the place that you spend most of your time. The U shaped lounge is plenty big for 6 or 8 adults to relax and enjoy a cruise or dockside festivities. A wet bar is just aft of the helm seat and an ice maker is found next to the companion seat. The helm is functional, and good looking.
A transom door leads to the large swim platform with swim ladder.
Plenty of stowage surrounds the cockpit.
